Modes of Operation

LP-C01 supports both transparent mode and gateway mode. In transparent mode, communication can occur via RS485 or Ethernet, with the communication data being directly forwarded without processing, thereby maintaining data integrity and real-time performance, making it suitable for applications that require rapid responses. In gateway mode, it can communicate with remote I/O devices such as LP-M01/M02/M03/M04, the PLC controller can collect or control RTU via Modbus.
LP-M01+ and LP-M02 can be configured as remote synchronous switch modes, enabling switch input and remote synchronous switch output.

P2P Communications-Transparent Mode

Configure two LP-C01 in a P2P link to provide fast and reliable communications for up to 20miles.

P2MP Communications-Transparent Mode

Use wireless connections in situations where communication is required and installing cable is neither cost-effective nor practical.

Co-Located Communications-Transparent Mode

Generally, when there are multiple radios at the same site, the transmission from one radio can easily overpower the weaker signals (from up to 20 miles away) that a nearby radio is trying to receive.

Star Communications-Transparent Mode

The LP-C01 network system can be used for Rs485 or Modbus TCP communication networks, and can be configured to create wireless transparent transmission networks.

Remote Monitoring and Control with LP-C01 -Gateway Mode

The M01 and M02 modules are capable of efficiently detecting AI/DI signals and outputting DO signals. AI/DI data can be periodically transferred to the LP-C01 at predefined intervals. In addition, the user can configure the AI upper and lower alarm thresholds, which will immediately send an alarm or drive the DO output when the specified range is exceeded.

P2P Communications-Remote Synchronous Switch Modes

LP-M01+ and LP-M02 can be configured as remote synchronous switch modes, enabling switch input and remote synchronous switch output.

P2MP Communications-Remote Synchronous Switch Modes

Use wireless connections in situations where communication is required and installing cable is neither cost-effective nor practical.

Extend teleprotection beyond 20 miles-Remote Synchronous Switch Modes

Generally, when there are multiple radios at the same site, the transmission from one radio can easily overpower the weaker signals (from up to 20 miles away) that a nearby radio is trying to receive.
