This smart agriculture IoT solution adopts LoRa wireless communication and 4G/Ethernet cloud connectivity technologies.Through RTU terminals, it connects various sensors, PLCs and HMIs to collect real-time environmental data,including air temperature & humidity, soil temperature & humidity, CO₂ concentration, light intensity and pH value.The system supports automatic control and remote device operation, providing data support for intelligent agricultural environment management.

Program Architecture

  • Perception layer 
    Mainly responsible for on-site environmental data collection and equipment control, including monitoring of air temperature and humidity, soil parameters, meteorological conditions, as well as video image acquisition.

    Adopts LoRa wireless communication and 4G cloud uploading as core technologies, supported by intelligent gateways and wireless transmission devices to ensure stable long-distance data transmission to the cloud.

Core Functions of the Smart Agriculture IoT System

1. Real-time Data Monitoring
Deploy various sensors such as air temperature and humidity sensors, soil temperature and humidity sensors, soil pH sensors, photosynthetically active radiation sensors, and CO₂ sensors at designated monitoring points to realize 24/7 real-time collection of key environmental parameters for crop growth, with accurate and traceable data.
 
2. Real-time Data Transmission
Relying on LoRa wireless communication and 4G cloud connectivity technologies, the collected various environmental data are transmitted to the monitoring center in real time, ensuring the timeliness, stability and accuracy of data transmission.
 
3. Intelligent Linkage Control
The system is equipped with executive equipment such as heating, sprinkler irrigation, ventilation, and roller shutter, as well as supporting controllers. When the data collected by the sensors deviates from the preset standard values and exceeds the critical range, the controller automatically starts the corresponding equipment to accurately adjust temperature, moisture, ventilation volume and light radiation, realizing automatic and refined control of the crop growth environment.
 
4. Visualization of Planting Environment
Adopt a liquid crystal splicing smart agriculture information display screen to intuitively present the real-time environmental data collected by various sensors in scenarios such as greenhouses, and simultaneously display the on-site real scene, realizing visual monitoring of the planting environment at a glance.
 
5. Cloud Platform Remote Control
All data of the system are uniformly stored in the cloud platform. The platform can perform intelligent analysis and display of the collected data, and also support remote control of the operation of the entire system.
